Guests picked up their table cards next to a table filled with photos of loved ones who had passed. Their cake was classic and simple, decorated with white icing and topped with white roses and a navy, nautical knot for a pop of color in the design.īrittany and Corey made their day as much about themselves and their loved ones as they could. The Bake Works did an amazing job of staying with their theme. The flowers consisted of blooms with garden roses, textures and ranunculus. There was a strip of embellishment right around her waist, pulling it together for exactly the look she was going for! The bridesmaids wore fashionable black halter-top dresses while the groom and groomsmen stuck with traditional black tuxedos. She selected a straight strapless dress that was covered in lace. While she wanted to keep it simple, she made sure that everything was still elegant and chic. The best part was that a wedding planner wasn’t needed, as Patrick Deely from The Breakwaters went above and beyond to handle everything and make sure their day was perfect!Īs many of our brides do, Brittany spent hours on Pinterest to find the inspiration she was looking for. They chose to have their rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception there. Once the couple visited The Breakwaters at the Dunes, they knew this was the place for them! It was the perfect all-inclusive spot they needed. When they were in line to take pictures, Corey dropped to one knee and made it the most surprising and magical night of all!īrittany grew up spending her summers in Sea Isle and knew she wanted to get married at the beach. The couple were spending the day with their families at a carnival that ended with fireworks and a huge lighted ice castle. Corey proposed during a winter getaway in Lake Placid, N.Y. It didn’t take long for them to realize that not only did they run in many of the same social circles, but their extended families (grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.) grew up together in Allentown as well. Brittany and Corey first crossed paths in Allentown, where Brittany was a bartender.
